"Harvey"
A comedy written by Mary Chase, Directed by Richard Hoffman
Elwood P. Dowd is a man who claims to have an unseen (and presumably
imaginary) friend Harvey - whom Elwood describes as a six-foot, three-and-one-
half-inch tall "pooka" resembling a rabbit. Elwood introduces Harvey to everyone he
meets. His social-climbing sister, Veta, increasingly finds his eccentric behaviour
embarrassing. She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare her and
her daughter from future embarrassment. When they arrive at the sanitarium, a
comedy of errors ensues.

behind the garden, she might be able to save her sickly young cousin and melt the
heart of her emotionally distant uncle. A touching coming-of-age story, based on the
classic novel.

many popular standards of radio, film and stage in the Tin Pan Alley era (1885 to
1940) and whom are celebrated in this Golden Chain production. Live
performances of many classic numbers such as "I Can't Give You Anything But
Love," "The Way You Look Tonight" and "I Feel a Song Coming on."
